Your information
TripTools Privacy Policy
How the app, this website and support email handle information.
The TripTools mobile application
TripTools (application identifier ca.vorlon.triptools) is an offline-first travel utility developed and published by Vorlon Holdings Inc. No account is required. The current app does not collect personal information for TripTools or transmit your local settings, notes or calculation inputs to a TripTools or Vorlon server.
Information on your device
TripTools stores settings, airport notes and local app state in a database on your device. Calculations and travel-tool inputs are processed locally. Bundled reference data works offline. Device and operating-system backup settings may include app data in backups; Android backup is enabled in the current app. Backup services are governed by your device settings and provider’s policies.
Analytics, advertising and tracking
The current app includes no analytics, advertising, third-party crash-reporting or tracking services. It does not collect advertising identifiers, use behavioural tracking or include in-app purchases.
Permissions
The current app does not request access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or Bluetooth. It does not use push notifications or background modes.
External websites and map applications
TripTools opens external websites or map apps when you choose a link. Map links can pass the selected airport’s coordinates and name. These services may receive normal browser or app traffic and have their own privacy policies. Vorlon Holdings Inc. does not control their data practices.
Information you send by email
Choosing Contact Support in the app asks your email application to prepare a draft addressed to Vorlon support. It may include the TripTools version, platform, operating-system version and device model to help diagnose an issue. You can review, edit or remove that information before sending. TripTools does not automatically transmit the draft or its diagnostics.
If you send an email, Vorlon Holdings Inc. receives your email address and the information you include, and may retain it to respond to and support your request. Email delivery is also subject to the privacy practices of the email providers involved. The website’s email links simply open your email application; this website has no support form.
This website and hosting logs
The TripTools website uses local static assets and includes no analytics, advertising, third-party tracking scripts or application cookies. This differs from the mobile app’s offline operation: visiting a website sends a request to its hosting server.
WHC, the website hosting provider, may maintain standard server and access logs containing information such as your IP address, request time, requested page, browser details and referring page. These logs may be used for website operation, security and troubleshooting. Hosting log settings and retention are managed through the hosting service.
Policy changes and dates
The mobile app policy’s effective date remains September 14, 2026. The separate website-log explanation, backup and external-link clarifications, and TripTools contact address were prepared October 26, 2026 for this website’s launch review. They describe existing behaviour and the planned website; they do not announce a new app data-collection feature. This policy will be updated if data practices change.
